Here’s my take: my training isn’t about making your dog reliant on a tool, but why remove a backup that keeps your dog safe? Having an “emergency button” like an e-collar isn’t about constant use—it’s about having control when it matters most. I’m not the trainer who will say, “Take the collar off after X amount of time.” If your dog’s off-leash and in public, why not keep that extra layer of safety? You’ll ever, regret keeping it on, but there are plenty of situations you could avoid with it there. After all, good training means prepared training!
