Ever heard of Puppy Pong? It’s one of my favorite recall games for dogs and puppies! Here’s how it works:
Grab a partner and take turns calling your dog back and forth. If your dog runs to the wrong person, the other person should ignore them completely—no attention until they get it right! For more of a challenge, start moving around the yard, get farther apart, or try calling your dog from different rooms of the house.
This game is not only fun, but it also teaches your dog that “recall” means find me, not just look around for me. Give it a try and watch your pup’s recall skills skyrocket!
